The Tie Downs use 1″ yellow nylon webbing, 10′ long; they can be cut to desired length. Each end has a vinyl s-hook with a closure to prevent the hook from coming loose. A strong over-center buckle with positive lock ensures the tie downs stay securely fastened. Also included is a 6″ reinforced strap to accommodate ground tie down loops greater than 7/8″ diameter (see photo). A velcro strap wraps that holds excess strapping. 3 tie downs per set
*Don’t be mis-lead–the rating on many tie downs are for the strapping only. For a correct rating, the “assembly” which includes the strapping, hooks and buckle must be tested. That is how Aircraft Widgets tests and certifies the rating on these tie downs.
